Seattle Wedding Photography FAQs
Answers to common questions about wedding photography, coverage, planning, and booking with PhotoYari.
1
How much does a Seattle wedding photographer cost?
Wedding photography pricing depends on coverage, location, and the needs of your day. Full-day wedding photography with PhotoYari begins at $3,500, with photo + video, second-photographer coverage, engagement sessions, albums, and additional hours available.
2
How many hours of wedding coverage do we need?
Eight to ten hours works well for most full wedding days, from getting ready through the major reception moments. Six hours can be a good fit for a single-location wedding with a shorter timeline, while courthouse weddings and elopements may need less coverage.
3
Can we add a second photographer?
Yes. A second photographer is especially helpful when both partners are getting ready in different locations, when the wedding includes multiple venues, or when a larger guest count makes simultaneous coverage valuable.
4
Do you offer wedding videography?
Yes. Photography and cinematic wedding films can be covered by one coordinated team, keeping your timeline, communication, and visual style consistent. Films can include vows and speeches with clean audio, and drone footage is available when venue conditions and local regulations allow.
5
What happens if it rains?
We plan for it. Your timeline can include flexible portrait windows and a covered backup location, and I bring professional lighting and weather-ready equipment for changing Pacific Northwest conditions. Some of my favorite wedding portraits have been created under gray skies and rain.
6
When will we receive our photos and film?
Sneak peeks are delivered within 7 days. Complete wedding galleries are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks, and wedding films within 10–12 weeks. Your finished work is delivered through a private online gallery for viewing and downloading.
7
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Once your collection is selected, your date is secured through a signed agreement, with the retainer and remaining balance arranged through a clear payment schedule. Flexible interest-free payment plans are available before the wedding.
8
How far in advance should we book?
For popular Saturdays and high-demand wedding dates, booking 10–14 months in advance is recommended. Shorter notice may still be available for weekdays and selected dates, so it is always worth checking your date. Your booking is finalized through a signed agreement and the required retainer.
